Connected TV Advertising Firms VideoByte and VideoBridge Announce Merger

VideoByte and VideoBridge, leading providers of digital advertising technology, today announced the merger of the two companies, creating the best-in-class global connected TV (CTV) advertising experience. The new company will operate under the VideoByte brand starting today and will bundle all commercial activities through the fourth quarter of this year.

CTV advertising is still one of the fastest-growing markets in the United States. According to a June 2021 report released by BMO Capital Markets, CTV’s US advertising spending is expected to reach nearly $21 billion this year and approximately $100 billion by 2030.

“We are excited to join forces as our sales and industry leadership and best-in-class technology and product union open a new door for the new VideoByte team,” said Nick Frazee, co-founder of VideoBridge. “Just in time for the holiday campaigns, we seamlessly changed technical resources for greater transparency, control, and spending for our partner agencies. We are excited to expand our work to add more value to our customers as we leverage our decades of experience.”

The combined operation will deliver a premium viewing experience on CTV and over-the-top (OTT) platforms through advanced data-based technology, delivering memorable brand messages to advertisers. The merger means the fledgling VideoByte now serves over 100 direct CTV customers with over 50 active advertisers. Known partners include AMC, MLB, NFL, and Plex. Overall, the goal of the merger is to provide customers with an even greater return on investment and, ultimately, to reimagine the viewing experience for everyone.

“Media16 is uniquely positioned to work closely with the new VideoByte platform to improve transparency and campaign management for our growing advertiser base,” said Joe Evea, founder of Media16 and VideoByte Client. “We are looking forward to the integration”.

In the new merger, Naffis will act as CEO and Frazee will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer. The private entity will be headquartered in Austin, Texas, VideoByte’s original home, with a satellite office in New York City, VideoBridge’s former headquarters. Together, the combined company will produce more than 1 billion impressions per year. For more information, visit
