Cloud Nine Web3 Technologies Inc., a leader in decentralized networking and data storage technology, has deployed billboards in the Decentraland Metaverse to promote Cloud Nine’s unlimited virtual private network (VPN).
Cloud Nine has partnered with TerraZero Technologies Inc. (“TerraZero”)
It uses its own virtual properties and portfolio to choose billboard locations, create content for creativity and distribute billboards all in one go, including interactive functionality that gives viewers truly unique impressions. Cloud Nine is the first VPN built with Metaverse in mind, implementing what TerraZero sees as the next level of “Experience Advertising”.
“Cloud Nine is uniquely positioned to capture multiple market opportunities through the tactical implementation of its unlimited VPN technology,” said Lucas Russell, president, and CEO of CNI. “We wanted to find a way to make an impact and let our users, stakeholders, and shareholders know that Cloud Nine is serious about Metaverse and its commitment to web3 technology, and to connect with TerraZero to become the first VPN ad on the Metaverse was a choice easy to do. Decentralized metaverse worlds often have users using a VPN, making it a logical goal to extend unlimited usage.
The company plans to aggressively expand its unlimited VPN technology in the coming months and will launch a new multimedia marketing program soon. “I’m excited about the features and adaptability that the Cloud Nine team has built into the Limitless platform,” he said. Russell: “For example, most if not all VPNs place their servers around the world based on cost. With Limitless, we plan to choose our server locations based on user experience. Our users want to access Metaverse with an Unlimited VPN, put a server close to it. If enough requests for our VPN come from professional Call of Duty players, we will guarantee a physical server in Las Vegas to optimize your experience.
In an effort to continually improve our global network coverage, Cloud Nine is pleased to announce the addition of two new VPN server locations in Sydney, Australia, and São Paulo, Brazil.
Dan Reitzik, CEO of TerraZero, said: “Cloud Nine and the Limitless platform were the natural choices to showcase Metaverse’s advertising capabilities. The early internet was full of pop-ups. Web 2.0 and social media rely on personal data. Now Web 3.0 solves these two problems. We look at ads from an “experimental” perspective and don’t need to know the last four digits of a user’s Social Security number. One of the reasons I like the Metaverse and decentralized worlds is that anonymity is valued. At the same time, there are more unique ways to deliver branded messages to the right users at the right time in Metaverse than in any other industry I’ve seen, and TerraZero plans to bring that kind of experience to each of our customers.
