The National Advertising Division (NAD) Annual Conference, NAD2021, celebrates 50 years of self-regulation in the advertising industry, bringing together industry experts, government officials, lawyers, and companies of all sizes who have worked since 1971 to establish their key points… standard of truth and accuracy in national advertising. These influencers will discuss the critical trust and technology challenges facing the advertising industry today and provide practical advice on the day-to-day issues that new and evolving platforms and an increasingly competitive environment can bring.
The National Advertising Division (NAD) oversees national advertising in all media, maintains high standards of truth and accuracy, and resolves disputes efficiently to build consumer trust and support fair competition. NAD analyzes advertisements based on business challenges, consumer complaints or on its own initiative and covers a wide range of sectors and issues. NAD decisions represent the largest amount of advertising decisions in the United States.
